Rev. Dr. Stu Merkel, "Pastor Stu", has been pastor at Faith Community Church in Franklin since 2009.   He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary MDIV and DMIN.  He is our spiritual leader, inspiring friend, and our creative preacher.  A lifelong Christian of the Congregational tradition who has served churches in San Diego, Hartford CT, Gurnee IL, and now Franklin.  Faith Community Church is pleased to have Pastor Stu as our guide.  He is also president of the Wisconsin Congregational Association Ministers Fellowship and teaches Spiritual Formations for the NACCC Lay Ministry Training Program.  He is Married to Lynn and resides in Oak Creek. They have two adult boys and two grandchildren.  In his spare time, you might find him officiating High School Swim meets and baseball games around MKE or in the seats at a Brewer game.
